Senior Applications Engineer, Security Tooling

Robinhood Markets is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer for their Security Tooling team. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and availability of critical third-party security software. As a senior applications engineer, you'll be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining company security SaaS applications and tools. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to assist with integrations and ensure that the SaaS technology architecture and governance align with strategic business initiatives and company goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Application administration, installation, configuration, and upgrades of SaaS solutions in the security space
• Implementing system changes and administering access within approved security policies
• Assessing business requirements and evaluating possible solutions
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and reliable solutions
• Assisting in technical support problem resolutions
• Maintaining standards, procedures, security controls, and documentation
• Participating in system audits and disaster recovery testing
• Contributing to budget recommendations and resource allocation

This role offers an opportunity to join the team on the ground floor and help build out the security applications' function at Robinhood. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and security SaaS, with experience in SSO/SAML/IAM systems, cloud applications, and automation. They should be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work across different offices and time zones.
