In this role, you'll build ML-powered user-facing features, optimize product feedback loops, develop the next version of Autopilot and Budgets, uncover relationships in customer data, design experiments, and build anomaly detection systems. You'll work in cross-functional teams, become a subject matter expert, and focus on creating products that help members build better financial lives. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong software engineering skills, 3+ years of professional experience in data science or ML engineering, and a passion for solving user problems. You'll work on challenging projects like improving transaction categorization, personalized product experiences, and customer segmentation models. Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer
- Build new, machine learning powered user-facing features and experiences
- Optimize continuous product feedback loops
- Develop the next version of Autopilot and Budgets
- Uncover relationships between customers' data for personalized experiences and targeting models
- Design and conduct experiments to estimate the impact of new ML-driven products
- Build anomaly detection systems for transaction categorization
- Work within cross-functional teams to build new products and services
- Become a subject matter expert in your area of specialty
- Design ML system and model architecture for product delivery
- Extend internal tooling to improve data science and ML product implementation
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to product and technical design
Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer
- 3+ years of professional experience in data science or machine learning engineering
- Strong software engineering skills
- Experience working with databases, data warehouses, models, and engineering backend ML and data science systems
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and define tasks independently
- Experience in delivering products incrementally
- Proficiency in multiple methodological approaches
- Understanding of ML system and model design
- Ability to work across the application stack to deliver data products
