Responsibilities For Tech Support Engineer

  • Communicate with educators via chat and email regarding Tier 2 support issues
  • Shape support tasks for the development team
  • Document technical issues using browser-based developer tools, SQL, and codebase
  • Pinpoint problem sources in DOM, console, database, or code
  • QA bug fixes and new features
  • Create screen recordings and replicate technical issues
  • Work closely with development and customer support teams

Requirements For Tech Support Engineer

PHP
JavaScript
  • 1+ years of SQL experience
  • 1+ years experience with PHP or equivalent backend code experience
  • 1+ years experience with Javascript
  • 1+ years experience with HTML and CSS
  • Highly organized
  • Experience with task management software
  • Experience with QAing web applications
  • Ability to read and write basic SQL
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Experience using Git
  • Comfortable navigating and evaluating code in an IDE (JetBrains / PHPStorm)
