Description For B1 Licensed Engineer - STN (EASA & UK CAA)

Ryanair, Europe's leading airline, is seeking a B1 Licensed Engineer to join their team at Stansted Airport. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a growing fleet of 600+ aircraft, including the new Boeing 737-8200 'Gamechanger' and future Boeing 737 MAX 10 deliveries.

The position involves working on 2D2N or 4N rotations in cooperation with Ryanair through AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd). As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and servicing the airline's modern fleet, handling AOG situations, and mentoring junior team members.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong line maintenance experience, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires both EASA or UK CAA certification, with opportunities for type rating courses on the Boeing 737-Max.

  • Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair's 737-800 and 737-8200 Fleet
  • Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery
  • Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
  • Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices

Requirements For B1 Licensed Engineer - STN (EASA & UK CAA)

Linux
  • Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential)
  • EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B1 License holder (Essential)
  • Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good IT Literacy (Essential)
  • Unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK
  • Full UK Driving License
  • 5 Years Maintenance Experience (for UK CAA License holders)
  • Completed or able to complete EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) & Module 10 (Aviation Legislation)
