Description For Graduate Planning Engineer

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM), a part of Ryanair, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Planning Engineer to join their Planning Department Team at Prestwick Airport, Scotland. This role offers a chance to gain experience in Aircraft Heavy Maintenance Production Planning, working closely with Ryanair.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Creating, monitoring, and developing Aircraft Heavy Maintenance check schedules
  2. Assisting/managing planning, facility, and heavy maintenance projects
  3. Monitoring and updating KPI reports
  4. Liaising with Ryanair on check timelines and future planning Heavy Maintenance base capabilities
  5. Assisting the planning department team with updating and implementing new planning procedures and processes
  6. Managing facility manpower to ensure completion of all planned work
  7. Performing scope of work assessments for all maintenance activities

The ideal candidate should have:

  1. A Planning / Project Management Hons Degree or Engineering Hons Degree
  2. Strong organizational, analytical & time management skills
  3. Excellent communication skills
  4. Full computer literacy with experience in Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  5. Previous experience with software packages Smartsheet and AMOS (advantageous but not essential)
  6. Fluency in English

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Prestwick, Scotland, United Kingdom. It offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic organization within the aviation industry, specifically in aircraft maintenance planning and management.
