Description For Technical Services Structures Engineer

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Structures Engineer to join our Technical Services department. The successful candidate will be based in our Hangar facility in Prestwick, Scotland (PAML). The Structures Engineer will report to the Structures Manager and will be responsible for the provision of structures support services for PAMS hangar and the larger Ryanair Group as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing structural reports of damage found during checks or operational incidents
  • Carrying out damage assessments and determining the best course of action for rectification
  • Developing repairs based on available resources and fleet requirements
  • Liaising with Boeing/Airbus Service Engineering for timely repair approvals
  • Ensuring high standards of record-keeping for structures repairs
  • Reviewing Service bulletins and ADs for possible fleet implementation

The ideal candidate will be a graduate engineer or aircraft engineer with essential structures experience. Knowledge of B737NG/MAX and A320 types is advantageous. Some shift work, including weekend cover, will be required.
