RYZ Labs is seeking a Staff Platform Security Engineer to join their client, a unicorn company in the robotics industry. The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of security engineering experience and deep expertise in cloud computing, Linux, and network security. You'll work with modern technologies including Python, Kubernetes, and various cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). Key responsibilities include developing runtime security measures, designing security tooling, and supporting penetration testing efforts.

Responsibilities For Staff Platform Security Engineer
- Lead technical security requirements for production cloud infrastructure
- Lead threat modeling to define approach for operationalizing and automating security
- Develop and implement runtime security measures for container environments
- Define hardening and continuous assessment criteria for infrastructure stack
- Design security tooling to identify system/software vulnerabilities
- Develop automated checks for machine and container configurations
- Support internal and third-party security penetration testing
- Participate in Security team on-call rotation
Requirements For Staff Platform Security Engineer
- 6+ years of experience as a security engineer or mix of security engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Deep expertise in Cloud Computing, Linux and network security
- Strong knowledge of networking and internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP)
- Strong knowledge of secure authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML 2.0)
- Scripting & programming experience for security automation (Python, bash)
- Strong experience with security tools and services within AWS and GCP
- Deep understanding of Security in the Software Development Life Cycle
- Familiar with security frameworks and standards (ISO27001, NIST CSF)
- Excellent time-management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
