Purpose:
The GM/HBC Manager role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while directing and controlling the Drug (General Merchandise) Department operations. This includes personnel supervision and training to achieve sales and profit objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champions customer service programs to exceed division goals
- Manages day-to-day Drug Department operations
- Implements company operating and merchandising policies
- Controls inventory and maintains stock levels
- Supervises receiving, storing, and merchandising
- Schedules and trains department associates
- Monitors performance and makes personnel recommendations
- Handles customer relations and complaint resolution
Requirements:
- Retail background with management experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Leadership and interpersonal abilities
- Basic knowledge of employment laws
- Ability to handle business operations and financials
- Math and computer software proficiency
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

- May experience temperatures from -20°F to 400°F in various areas
- Part-time schedule
