Safran Engineering Services UK is seeking a Performance & Dynamics Engineer to strengthen their Systems Engineering team in Gloucester. This role focuses on developing computational models and running simulations for major aerospace programs, specifically dealing with aircraft landing gear systems, shock absorption, and steering mechanisms. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement requiring minimum 3 days per week on-site.
The role involves delivering complex performance and dynamic analysis for mechanical and hydraulic systems in aircraft operations. The engineer will be responsible for understanding and implementing requirements, conducting various types of analyses including stability, shimmy, and modal analysis, and ensuring integrated system performance meets program specifications.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with strong analytical skills and knowledge of simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink and MSC ADAMS.
