Responsibilities For Staff Mechanical Engineer
- Component and simple assembly design
- Mechanical drafting and technical document authoring
- Conduct tests, design manufacturing fixtures, mentor junior colleagues
- Lead and direct the work of others on project basis
- Involvement in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of products
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements For Staff Mechanical Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
- 10+ years of experience working in a similar role
- 5+ years of experience in a Senior (or above) mechanical engineer role
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction and contribute to strategic decision-making
- Familiarity with a large variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
