Responsibilities For Staff Mechanical Engineer

  • Component and simple assembly design
  • Mechanical drafting and technical document authoring
  • Conduct tests, design manufacturing fixtures, mentor junior colleagues
  • Lead and direct the work of others on project basis
  • Involvement in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of products
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements For Staff Mechanical Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 10+ years of experience working in a similar role
  • 5+ years of experience in a Senior (or above) mechanical engineer role
  • Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction and contribute to strategic decision-making
  • Familiarity with a large variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
