Description For Software Engineer SMTS

Salesforce Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer SMTS in Dallas, TX. This role involves building and operating highly scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems to deliver cloud-scale security software services. The engineer will provide fundamental building blocks to improve and preserve customer trust in Salesforce's products across multiple public cloud substrates and network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and implementing services to protect Salesforce products/infrastructure and defend against malicious attacks
  • Building Hyperforce's security architecture to continuously verify and limit user access to customer data
  • Preventing exposure of sensitive information due to human error or misconfiguration
  • Ensuring privacy and security of data from Salesforce and public cloud providers

Requirements:

  • Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or related field
  • Skills in designing, developing, integrating, testing, and optimizing software applications
  • Experience with relational databases, JDBC, Maven, Unix, XML, RESTful web services, JSON, Java, Sailpoint IQ, and Identity and Access Management
