Salesforce, the world's leading CRM platform, is seeking an Associate Relationship Manager for their Global Private Equity & VC Practice. This role is pivotal in transforming how private equity firms create value for investors and portfolio companies. The position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and private equity, supporting strategic partnerships and driving growth initiatives.

The role involves working directly with senior PE teams to deepen partnerships and accelerate value creation. You'll be responsible for developing perspectives on value creation opportunities across PE portfolios, conducting both quantitative and qualitative analysis, and contributing to customer-facing engagements. The position requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and relationship management skills.

As an Associate Relationship Manager, you'll support due diligence processes, help develop growth strategies for carve-outs and new acquisitions, and work closely with portfolio companies to optimize their business models using Salesforce capabilities. You'll act as a crucial link between account teams and the Private Equity Practice, helping to accelerate opportunities and drive them to closure.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, consulting, or similar fields. You should be comfortable working with C-level executives, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and have the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $106,890 to $142,940 and follows a hybrid work model requiring minimum 3 days in the office per week.

  • Support senior team in maintaining relationships with strategic Private Equity Partners
  • Act as an advocate for the partnership within Private Equity firm and Salesforce
  • Contribute to Private Equity due diligence processes
  • Support execution of go-to-market plans for Private Equity partners

Requirements For Associate Relationship Manager, Private Equity Practice

  • 3-5 years experience in private equity/credit, venture capital, consulting, investment banking, M&A, strategy, enterprise software, or digital transformation
  • Experience influencing decisions in corporate transactions
  • Experience working internationally with international clients and teams
  • Experience working at C-level
  • Exceptional communication, strategic, analytical, and consulting skills
  • High tolerance for ambiguity
  • Strong work ethic and personal drive
  • Superior ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Willingness to travel >30% of the time
