Join Salesforce's Growth Data Engineering team as a Data Engineer in a hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA. This position is part of the team that connects people and technology to transform the future of work at Salesforce. The Data Engineering team works closely with the centralized Analytics team, building and maintaining infrastructure that powers Product, Analytics, Marketing, Sales, and Operations functions.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing and improving an innovative data environment using industry-standard processes and cutting-edge approaches. You'll collaborate with engineering teams on data infrastructure and work with business partners across major functions to anticipate data needs and develop solutions for complex business problems.

The role involves building scalable automated data pipelines, working with various data sources, and ensuring data quality across the organization. You'll be using technologies like Python, PostgreSQL, and various data warehousing tools to create efficient and reliable data solutions.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Work alongside and support a versatile team of data engineers
  • Architect, build and maintain scalable automated data pipelines
  • Work with data ingestion, data platform and product teams to understand and validate instrumentation and data flow
  • Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining and production
  • Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools
  • Support regular ad-hoc data querying and analysis
  • Monitor, QA, translate, collaborate with business teams to ensure data quality

  • Experience with RDBMS & MPP databases
