Description For Director, Technical Program Management: Industry Clouds

Salesforce Industries is seeking a Director of Technical Program Management to lead their Financial Services Cloud initiatives, the largest Industry Cloud in their portfolio. This role sits within the Technical Program Management team, which is crucial in delivering innovative enterprise cloud solutions across 13 business verticals. The position requires extensive collaboration with leadership and scrum teams across US and India, focusing on planning and execution of cloud programs.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the cloud operating model, managing cross-functional programs, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives. They will work closely with product and engineering leaders to drive programs and releases, while also contributing to operating rhythm improvements and process enhancements.

Responsibilities For Director, Technical Program Management: Industry Clouds

  • Own and drive the cloud operating model by achieving alignment on program scope and release planning
  • Drive program core team meetings with key stakeholders
  • Develop strong partnerships with key functional stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teammates to drive workgroup alignment meetings
  • Provide visibility to program status through push status reporting
  • Manage program/feature dependencies across multiple teams
  • Anticipate and remove obstacles with a sense of urgency
  • Provide weekly program reviews to the executive team
  • Create a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning
  • Be a catalyst within the organisation to advance Product & Technology strategy globally

Requirements For Director, Technical Program Management: Industry Clouds

  • Overall professional experience of 10 to 20 years with at least 10 years leading large enterprise product programs
  • 6+ years of cross-functional team management experience in SaaS
  • Experience working in global teams across geographies and time zones
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Deep experience with software development lifecycle
  • A related technical degree required
  • Experience working in Financial Services and Insurance domains (preferred)
  • Experience working with GTM and product launch teams (preferred)
