This role, also known as a Pre-Sales Engineer or Sales Consultant, is crucial in presenting product offerings and architecture to prospects and customers. The position focuses on the Service Cloud portfolio, requiring expertise in customer service solutions and technical sales.

The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with customer service expertise to become a trusted advisor, helping customers solve their service challenges. You'll be responsible for analyzing service needs, conducting deep discovery, recommending solutions, and demonstrating how Salesforce products provide return on investment.

Key responsibilities include evangelizing Service Cloud value to executives, configuring tailored demonstrations, proposing solution architectures for call center infrastructure, and collaborating with various teams. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in PreSales and Services Industry, with knowledge of CRM solutions and web technologies.

Responsibilities For Field Services Solution Engineer

  • Evangelize Service Cloud value to customers and field teams
  • Assess business and operations impacted by technology
  • Deliver findings including key pain points, proposed solutions, and ROI
  • Configure and demonstrate visionary solutions for customers
  • Discuss and propose solution architecture including omni-channel call center infrastructure
  • Execute enablement activities (Webinars, Best Practices, Knowledge Share)
  • Collaborate with Field Service Management Sales and Solution Engineering teams

Requirements For Field Services Solution Engineer

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with PreSales and Services Industry
  • Experience in Customer Service, Contact Centers, or Field Service industries
  • Understanding of the Salesforce product suite and platform
  • Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology
  • Basic programming experience in HTML and web based technologies
  • Workflow / BPM / integration experience
  • Experience with CRM solutions like ServiceNow, RightNow, Microsoft, Siebel, Oracle, SAP
  • Some domestic travel is required
