Description For Full-Stack /Backend Software Engineer - LMTS - Trust Engineer

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Full-Stack/Backend Software Engineer to join their Platform Trust Engineering team. This role focuses on ensuring exceptional service health and customer experience for the Go To Market Automation (GTMA) platform. The GTMA platform is a new initiative that will transform how Salesforce customers buy, budget, and consume usage entitlements across their Salesforce investment.

As a Trust Engineer, you'll be responsible for proactively monitoring service health, identifying and resolving issues before they impact customers, and maintaining high service availability. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and be part of a team that ensures the reliability of Salesforce's critical services.

The role combines technical expertise with customer advocacy, requiring both strong engineering skills and the ability to provide valuable feedback to improve product features and engineering processes. You'll be working in a collaborative environment, participating in on-call rotations, and having the opportunity to mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities For Full-Stack /Backend Software Engineer - LMTS - Trust Engineer

  • Respond to Production Issues through triaging, reproducing, and implementing solutions
  • Monitor Critical Service Signals and Improve Services' Availability
  • Design improvements to existing features
  • Work in partnership with the product engineering team
  • Provide feedback on existing and upcoming features
  • Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes
  • Present and review designs
  • Develop test strategies and automation frameworks
  • Participate in the team's on-call rotation

Requirements For Full-Stack /Backend Software Engineer - LMTS - Trust Engineer

  • Related technical degree required
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Deep knowledge of object oriented programming
  • Proficiency with monitoring software (such as New Relic)
  • High proficiency in high-level programming language and web framework
  • Understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, Ajax)
  • Understanding of Database technologies (SQL, PL/SQL)
  • Experience in automated testing (Java, JUnit, JSUnit, Selenium)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science (preferred)
  • Experience with Agile software development (preferred)
