Salesforce Data Cloud is seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement cloud-based infrastructure supporting Salesforce's global systems, with a focus on the next-generation Salesforce Data Cloud platform. This platform helps companies unify customer data, manage identity and consent, segment and activate audiences, and optimize engagement with insights.
As a Lead Infrastructure Software Engineer, you'll work on large-scale services across data ingestion, big data management, storage, processing, analytics, profile graphs, segmentation, and activations. Teams are dev/ops focused, handling everything from development to production and support.
You'll collaborate with product and engineering teams, including Agentforce and AI initiatives, to find infrastructure solutions that speed up software delivery. This includes working with tools like Istio, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and AWS, creating automation, designing data store architectures, and enhancing security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement large-scale cloud infrastructure projects
- Work with container-based tooling and deployment
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Kubernetes and GitOps principles
- Implement and improve Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
- Collaborate on continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
- Enhance networking, security, and distributed systems
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, with significant cloud engineering experience
- Expertise in AWS and other cloud platforms (GCP/Azure)
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java
- Deep experience with Linux/Unix systems
- Strong background in distributed systems

Requirements For Lead Infrastructure Software Engineer
- Related technical degree or proven years of experience in DevOps
- 8+ years of design, implementation, and architecture experience in large production public cloud infrastructure projects
- Extensive experience with AWS and other cloud platforms (GCP/Azure)
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and familiarity with Helm and GitOps
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementation
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Spinnaker
- Understanding of networking, SSL, TLS, and HTTP2
- Working knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code technologies
- Deep experience with Linux/Unix systems
- Experience in distributed systems
