Salesforce is seeking a Lead or Principal Account Solution Engineer to join their team in Mumbai, India. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to work with Manufacturing & Energy industry customers in crafting innovative customer engagement roadmaps using Salesforce applications and platform.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong background in pre-sales or implementation of customer engagement solutions. You'll be working with enterprise-level organizations across Manufacturing, Energy, and Oil & Gas sectors, driving business outcomes through technology solutions and engaging with C-level executives.

In this role, you'll be responsible for facilitating outcome-focused dialogues, developing customer visions, and bringing them to life through product demonstrations. You'll need to demonstrate thought leadership in digital transformation, conduct discovery sessions, and build solution presentations that clearly articulate business value.

The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills. You'll be expected to understand cloud computing, CRM, and mobile solutions while being able to translate technical capabilities into business value. The role involves working with cross-functional teams, leading multiple customer engagements, and delivering both functional and technical responses to RFPs/RFIs.

Responsibilities For Lead or Principal Account Solution Engineer

  • Facilitate outcome-focused dialogue to understand customer's business requirements
  • Partner with customers to develop vision for Salesforce platform implementation
  • Configure and present product demonstrations
  • Participate in trainings and certifications
  • Interface with product and enablement teams
  • Provide thought leadership in digital transformation
  • Run successful discovery sessions and workshops
  • Build solution presentations, demonstrations and prototypes
  • Build implementation roadmaps
  • Present business value to managers and executives
  • Deliver functional and technical responses to RFPs/RFIs
  • Lead multiple customer engagements concurrently

Requirements For Lead or Principal Account Solution Engineer

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • 10+ years of confirmed experience in the IT Industry
  • Experience in pre-sales or implementation of customer engagement solutions
  • Industry Experience in Manufacturing / Energy/ Oil & Gas (plus)
  • Strong focus and experience in pre-sales or implementation
  • Experience in demonstrating Customer engagement solution
  • Business Analysis/Business case/ROI construction skills
  • Experience in sophisticated solution selling to Enterprise customers
  • Understanding of Cloud Computing, SFA, Service & Support, Marketing and Mobile solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Outstanding presentation and demonstration skills
