Description For Lead Solution Engineer

Salesforce is seeking an outstanding Senior Solution Engineer to join their Commercial Industries Solution Engineering team in London. As a Solution Engineer (also known as Presales Consultant, Sales Consultant, or Sales Engineer), you'll be responsible for owning solutions throughout the sales cycle and delivering thought leadership to transform customer experiences. You'll work as part of the UKI Sales team, collaborating with colleagues to create AI, Data, and CRM solutions for new prospects and customers.

The role combines technical expertise with business acumen, requiring you to act as a trusted advisor to customers while supporting their transformational journey. You'll be translating business objectives into practical recommendations and setting the vision for customer success. The position offers opportunities to work on critical initiatives that drive continuous improvement within the Solution Engineering team while growing your personal profile within Salesforce.

Responsibilities For Lead Solution Engineer

  • Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions and solution concepts to key decision makers
  • Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle through collaboration with other teams
  • Articulate the benefits of Salesforce to customers at all levels (Admin/IT, managers, C-level)
  • Present compelling Salesforce & partner solutions while supporting customer relationships
  • Incorporate and develop industry-specific point of view based on Salesforce's solutions

Requirements For Lead Solution Engineer

  • Track record of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery or training success in software solutions
  • Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic team environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team in dynamic environments
  • Degree or equivalent proven experience required
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally
  • Understanding of business requirements across multiple industries
