Description For Manager/Sr. Manager Consumption Value Delivery, Commerce Cloud

Salesforce is seeking a strategic growth-focused Consumption Lead for their Commerce Cloud division to drive adoption, growth, and success within their largest GMV customers. This role combines technical expertise with customer success management, requiring deep understanding of e-commerce architectures and business metrics.

The position reports to the Sr. Director of Consumption COE and focuses on three key areas: Account Growth, Technical Expertise, and Customer Success. You'll be responsible for driving consumption growth through successful implementation of commerce use cases, developing data-driven expansion strategies, and creating technical POCs for commerce opportunities.

As a Manager/Sr. Manager, you'll work directly with C-level executives and operational teams, helping customers fully leverage the Commerce Cloud platform to achieve their e-commerce objectives. The role requires strong technical knowledge of digital commerce architectures combined with business acumen to drive measurable outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of sales/customer success experience with technical expertise, strong experience in enterprise e-commerce solutions, and the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders. Knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem and Commerce Cloud certification are preferred.

This position offers an attractive salary range of $168,420 - $261,170 and is based in San Francisco. Responsibilities For Manager/Sr. Manager Consumption Value Delivery, Commerce Cloud

  • Drive consumption growth through successful implementation of initial commerce use cases
  • Track and drive key consumption metrics including GMV, order volume, and platform utilization
  • Develop data-driven expansion strategies based on consumption patterns
  • Create and execute account plans to achieve targeted consumption goals
  • Guide customers' commerce roadmap to maximize platform value
  • Create technical POCs for commerce expansion opportunities
  • Guide customers on commerce platform best practices and optimization
  • Engage with C-level to operational teams on commerce initiatives
  • Build business cases demonstrating ROI of increased platform adoption
  • Drive adoption of new commerce capabilities aligned to business outcomes

Requirements For Manager/Sr. Manager Consumption Value Delivery, Commerce Cloud

  • 7+ years experience of applicable sales/customer success experience with technical expertise
  • Experience driving consumption/adoption in enterprise accounts and portfolio management
  • Strong experience in enterprise e-commerce solutions
  • Technical knowledge of digital commerce architectures
  • Ability to engage technical and business stakeholders
  • Understanding of order management and marketplace solutions
  • Understanding of retail/commerce business metrics and KPIs
  • Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem
  • Salesforce Commerce cloud certification
