Performance Engineering - MTS/SMTS

Join Salesforce's Industry Performance Team as a Performance Engineer where you'll be at the forefront of building innovative software to enhance engineer productivity and identify performance bottlenecks. This role involves working with large-scale applications across diverse technology stacks including mobile, browsers, systems, and storage. You'll be responsible for delivering real-time business intelligence and enabling faster data-driven decisions through expertise in scalability and latency optimization.

As a Performance Engineer, you'll conduct comprehensive performance analysis of distributed environments, develop and debug code for performance optimization, and enhance user experience across multiple platforms. The role requires expertise in Java, JVM tuning, and various performance metrics related to throughput, latency, memory, CPU, disk & network operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5-13 years of experience in performance engineering, strong coding abilities in multiple languages including Java, Python, and Ruby on Rails, and experience with frontend testing tools. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including NoSQL databases and transport systems like Spark, Storm, Cassandra, and Kafka.
