Principal, Data Cloud Solution Engineer

Salesforce Data Cloud is focused on next-generation technology at Salesforce and the flagship innovation and hyperscale data platform built natively into Salesforce. As a Principal, Data Cloud Solution Engineer, you will bring a unique combination of executive-level presence combined with full-stack technical skills to ensure Data Cloud delivers value to customers integrated with complex customer data architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person & web-based meetings to drive the entire opportunity lifecycle
• Collaborate strategically with Account Executives to develop Industry-specific use cases
• Implement programs to efficiently scale technical evaluation of Salesforce Data Cloud
• Collaborate with product teams and advocate for key features
• Develop scalable, deployable, reusable, and relevant field enablement technical assets
• Partner with Product Marketing to advise messaging and sales plays
• Deliver the overall Salesforce point-of-view for data strategy aligned to industry-specific use cases
• Articulate Data & AI ROI value to Business & getting the IT buy-in

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in customer-facing solutioning for Data, Analytics, AI (ML/RAG) and CRM
• Full-stack technical qualifications combined with experience owning technical relationships with C-Level executives
• Experience integrating complex data architectures to drive business value
• Experience in 1 or more Hyperscale Data providers (ex. AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Skilled at guiding impactful discovery conversations
• Experience driving customer success in large, complex selling organizations
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Hands-on expertise in modern cloud data platforms, data analytics tools, and AI
• Technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform
