Principal, Data Cloud Solution Engineer

Salesforce is seeking a Principal Data Cloud Solution Engineer to serve as a technical trusted advisor with deep expertise in Data Cloud, their flagship hyperscale data platform. This role combines executive-level presence with full-stack technical skills to ensure Data Cloud delivers value through complex customer data architectures. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of modern cloud data platforms like Snowflake, GBQ, and Databricks, alongside data analytics tools such as Tableau.

The position involves working closely with Account Executives to drive technical discovery and close strategies, while developing industry-specific use cases with proven architectures. You'll be instrumental in scaling technical evaluation of Salesforce Data Cloud across the Industry/Territory and creating reusable technical assets that accelerate adoption.

As a Principal Engineer, you'll collaborate with product teams to understand Salesforce solutions and roadmap, providing crucial Voice of the Customer feedback. Your role extends to being a gifted storyteller capable of engaging diverse audiences from C-level executives to data architects. The position requires a unique combination of technical expertise in data architecture, AI/ML, and CRM, coupled with strong business acumen and communication skills.

Success in this role demands a proven track record in customer-facing solutions for Data, Analytics, AI, and CRM, with demonstrated experience in driving customer success in large, complex selling organizations. You'll be expected to deliver Salesforce's point-of-view for data strategy aligned to industry-specific use cases and contribute to major events like Dreamforce and Salesforce World Tours.
