The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in customer-facing solutions for Data, Analytics, and AI, combined with a strong understanding of modern data architecture trends including Lakehouses, LLMs, and Data Governance. You'll need expertise in hyperscale data providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.

Responsibilities For Principal, Data Cloud Solution Engineer
- Arrange and conduct in-person & web-based meetings to drive opportunity lifecycle from technical discovery to technical close
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop Industry-specific use cases
- Implement programs to scale technical evaluation of Salesforce Data Cloud
- Collaborate with product teams to understand solutions and roadmap
- Develop scalable technical assets that drive business outcomes
- Partner with Product Marketing to advise messaging and sales plays
- Deliver Salesforce point-of-view for data strategy aligned to industry-specific use cases
- Articulate Data & AI ROI value to Business
Requirements For Principal, Data Cloud Solution Engineer
- Experience in customer-facing solutioning for Data, Analytics, AI (ML & RAG) and CRM
- Full-stack technical qualifications with C-Level executive relationship experience
- Understanding of Lakehouses, Data Governance, LLMs, Agents
- Experience integrating complex data architectures
- Experience in Hyperscale Data providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong discovery conversation skills
- Experience driving customer success in large organizations
