Description For Principal Technical Support Engineer

Salesforce Inc. seeks a Principal Technical Support Engineer in Chicago, IL. This role involves taking ownership of customer issues, troubleshooting integrations, liaising with internal teams, and handling queries for all MuleSoft Anypoint products. Key responsibilities include creating knowledge base materials, maintaining testbed systems, researching new technologies, debugging MuleSoft's Java API and Platform APIs, and mentoring new Support Engineers. The ideal candidate will have experience with various integration technologies and be proficient in analyzing diagnostics information and building MuleSoft applications.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 2 years of experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5 years of experience
  • Experience with: Tokenization, REST and SOAP web services, Oracle Database, Linux and Windows, Hibernate, Spring, MySQL database, debugging network issues, Service Gateway, and API Management

  • Research new technologies including APIs, Web Services, and Cloud Infrastructure
