Description For Product Manager, Product Operations

The Product Operations team at Salesforce is dedicated to driving the company's product planning and delivery life cycle. This role involves working with product executives, product managers, technology program managers, and operations leaders across Technology & Product to run efficient product life cycle processes, drive data-informed decisions, and create actionable insights. As a Product Manager in Product Operations, you will be responsible for driving the planning, design, and development of applications to support critical processes across the product life cycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and delivering features and solutions for effective product organization operations
  • Identifying business requirements and writing epics and user stories
  • Maintaining and prioritizing product feature roadmaps
  • Driving planning, solution designs, and execution of applications
  • Participating in technical discussions and making design decisions
  • Developing minimal viable products (MVPs) for new products
  • Leading and obtaining strategic buy-in from stakeholders
  • Developing and executing change enablement plans
  • Communicating product vision, roadmap, and progress
  • Driving adoption of delivered features and solutions

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of Product Management experience, a degree in Engineering or Information Systems, and strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform. They should be familiar with the Product Development Life Cycle, software development methodologies, and project management principles. Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities For Product Manager, Product Operations

Requirements For Product Manager, Product Operations

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience building and delivering core product / platform features
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 2-4 years related information systems experience
  • Experience building and managing products
  • General familiarity with Product Development Life Cycle
  • Experience with and knowledge of Salesforce platform
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and project management principles
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with ambiguity in a fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
