Salesforce, the world's leading CRM platform, is seeking a Mobile Testing SDET to join their dynamic team. This role sits within the Quadrant3 Mobile Testing team, focusing on automation quality tests and release support for Salesforce applications across iOS and Android platforms.

As an Automation Software Engineer on the Salesforce Mobile team, you'll be instrumental in designing and owning cross-team automation and quality strategy. You'll collaborate with a team of talented engineers to ensure the highest quality standards for mobile applications. The role involves significant interaction with various cross-functional teams and requires expertise in mobile testing automation.

The team operates in an agile environment, emphasizing collaborative development, technical excellence, and iterative improvement. You'll be working with hybrid applications and frameworks for rendering UI across multiple mobile devices and operating systems. Responsibilities For SDET - Mobile Testing

  • Write automation test cases for testing quality and functionality of features
  • Build and maintain regression test suites and frameworks
  • Collaborate with scrum teams to prioritize user stories and execute test cases
  • Verify reproducibility and impact of bugs
  • Retrieve and file bugs from devices' crash report logs
  • Write descriptive bug reports
  • Evangelize automation best practices
  • Own and enhance scalable and reliable test infrastructure
  • Partner with development and product management teams

Requirements For SDET - Mobile Testing

Java
  • 4+ years programming experience in writing high-quality Java code and unit tests
  • Experience with tools like Xcode, Android Studio, AppCenter, Jenkins, Eclipse, GIT
  • Experience with automating test tools Appium, Selenium, and web driver
  • 4+ years experience in feature, regression, and exploratory testing of hybrid mobile applications
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management
  • Experience with hybrid native/web applications and WebViews
  • Understanding of client/server applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of mobile market with various devices and operating systems
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
