Responsibilities For Security Threat Detection Engineer, PMTS

  • Understand current data pipelines and datasets to develop innovative solutions for analyzing and identifying unique outliers and patterns
  • Organize and query datasets to support various detection engineering projects
  • Develop and roll out innovative signals across customer workspaces to identify anomalous behavior
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams on security-specific in-product feature development
  • Develop and maintain internal tools and solutions supporting detection engineering efforts

Requirements For Security Threat Detection Engineer, PMTS

  • Strong experience in Information Security centric roles
  • Ability to envision Security Incident scenarios and develop customer-focused detections
  • Experience querying large amounts of data to investigate anomalous activity
  • Experience with Threat Actor Tactics, Techniques & Procedures (TTPs)
  • Background in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), Threat Detection and/or Threat Hunting
  • Expertise in Python or Go programming languages
  • Ability to write efficient SQL queries
