Salesforce is seeking a Senior Director of Technical Program Management to lead their Cloud Economics and Capacity Management portfolio. This key leadership role involves managing a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and driving critical multi-year programs for data center operations supporting Salesforce Core Products, Marketing Cloud, and Commerce Cloud. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, overseeing the building, maintenance, decommissioning, and migration of mission-critical data centers.

The role is based in either San Francisco, CA or Bellevue, WA, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 36 days in office per quarter. The compensation is competitive, ranging from $221,500 to $337,800 in California, reflecting the senior nature of the position and its critical importance to Salesforce's operations.

Responsibilities For Senior Director, Technical Program Management: Cloud Economics and Capacity Management
- Lead TPM teams in Cloud Economics and Capacity Management portfolio
- Drive multi-year large-scale programs for data centers
- Lead Steering Committee meetings with key stakeholders
- Develop partnerships with key functional stakeholders
- Drive workgroup alignment meetings
- Provide visibility to program status
- Manage program dependencies across multiple teams
- Create collaborative environment fostering creativity and innovation
- Provide monthly program reviews and updates
- Partner with cross-functional teammates
Requirements For Senior Director, Technical Program Management: Cloud Economics and Capacity Management
- 15+ years experience managing large complex programs/projects using Agile/Scrum, Kanban
- 8+ years of solution management experience for software or SaaS
- 6+ years of experience leading engineering and cross functional teams
- 5+ years implementing and managing SaaS product development programs
- 3+ years of Direct People Management Experience
- Deep understanding of Data Center Operations
- Technical degree required
- Must be willing to work Pacific Coast time zone
- Experience with Portfolio Management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
