Responsibilities For Senior Manager, Solution Engineering

  • Manage a team of Solutions Engineers dedicated to providing Marketing expertise in pursuit of sales opportunities
  • Align team goals and project priorities with the leadership's vision
  • Provide mentorship and career planning for Solution Engineers
  • Recruit, interview, and hire new team members
  • Interpret and anticipate strategic business needs
  • Ensure adherence to onboarding program for new hires
  • Provide enablement for product knowledge gaps
  • Drive adoption of digital marketing disciplines, trends & latest technologies
  • Develop relationships with sales management and quota-bearing sales personnel
  • Develop relationships with Sales and SE Leadership across Salesforce business units
  • Attend customer meetings to help develop team members' skill sets
  • Manage based on team metrics, data, and facts
  • Provide quarterly Business Reviews to leadership

Requirements For Senior Manager, Solution Engineering

  • Experience in Solutions Engineering or Pre-Sales Management
  • Strong track record of selling digital marketing solutions or related customer-centric Retail industry solutions
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM Systems (or similar)
  • Proven success in leading remote teams
  • Experience recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Solutions Engineers/Pre-Sales personnel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep knowledge of Sales best practices
  • Experience in producing management business reports
  • Comfort delivering presentations to C-Level Executives and technical audiences
  • Practical experience implementing digital marketing solutions or complex enterprise framework solutions
