Description For (Senior) Manager, Solution Engineering

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Engineering Manager for their marketing cloud pre-sales team in Switzerland. This role combines technical leadership with strategic sales engagement, requiring a leader who can drive team development while delivering optimal solutions for prospects and customers. The position demands exceptional leadership, communication, and consulting skills, working directly with Sales Leaders to drive growth. Responsibilities For (Senior) Manager, Solution Engineering

  • Work closely with Sales VPs to develop industry and account strategy
  • Develop team and encourage growth mindset
  • Act as player-coach, actively working with team members to solve difficult problems
  • Build exec level business and IT relationships with strategic customers
  • Communicate vision and strategy to align team with company goals
  • Build strong network of internal resources
  • Participate in solution architectural discussions and planning
  • Maintain high morale and motivate the SE team
  • Work cross functionally with Sales, Services, Customer Success teams

Requirements For (Senior) Manager, Solution Engineering

  • 3+ years of front-line leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Extensive experience leading complex Solution Engineering organizations
  • Excellent analytic capabilities and organizational skills
  • Advanced leadership skills and fundamental Sales Skills (Value and Solution Selling)
  • Proficiency with CRM, Application Solution Selling and Integration technologies
  • Knowledge of Modern Web & Mobile Applications, Cloud Technologies
  • Fluent English required
  • Fluent French or German required
  • Master / Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Salesforce certification is a plus
