Description For Senior Product Manager, Event Technology & Insights

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their Event Technology & Insights team within the Marketing organization. This role is crucial in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions for Salesforce's global brand activations, including content marketing initiatives and events marketing portfolio. The position focuses on enhancing in-person, digital, and on-demand experiences across various platforms.

The ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of in-person event experiences, supporting the entire event lifecycle from awareness to post-event journey. This includes managing technology for major events like Dreamforce, Connections, and TrailblazerDX, as well as World Tour regional events. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen.

As a Product Owner Lead, you'll be responsible for defining roadmaps, prioritizing features, and translating business requirements into actionable work items for engineering teams. The position demands excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence product leadership while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities For Senior Product Manager, Event Technology & Insights

  • Drive digital technology roadmap for In Person Engagement features
  • Product Owner Lead for In Person Events Scrum Team
  • Define Roadmaps, Prioritize Features, and Translate BRD and PRDs
  • Provide regular updates to leadership
  • Present strategy, roadmap, and progress to senior executive audiences
  • Foster decision-making across stakeholders, delivery partners, and operational teams
  • Collaborate with security, architecture, engineering, quality, support teams
  • Represent and lead diverse delivery functions
  • Collaborate with partners for product vision and roadmap alignment

Requirements For Senior Product Manager, Event Technology & Insights

  • 8+ years of product management experience with successful product delivery track record
  • In-depth experience with product development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
  • Hands-on experience running a scrum team as a Product Owner
  • Experience in consumer experience, marketing, and digital engagement technologies
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • B.A., B.Sc. or equivalent
  • Ability to travel for key events (less than 20%)
  • Experience communicating with business and technical audiences
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
