Responsibilities For Senior Technical Support Engineer (Signature Success) – Japanese speaking

  • Collaborate with Tableau's enterprise customers on server/core server products
  • Support post-sales installation, configuration and set-up tasks
  • Implement successful server launches and resolve technical problems
  • Perform root cause analysis and debugging
  • Maintain customer relationships and collaborate with Engineering teams
  • Connect with Japanese customers via email, phone, and web meetings
  • Write test scripts and perform tests using customer's data
  • Document customer software issues as Knowledge Base articles
  • Mentor Technical Support Specialists
  • Manage and prioritize customer cases and company projects

Requirements For Senior Technical Support Engineer (Signature Success) – Japanese speaking

Linux
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese
  • Superb understanding of relational databases
  • 5+ years of IT-related system integration or development experience
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux
  • Experience with networking, including troubleshooting with Fiddler or WireShard
  • Server setup and administration experience
  • Experience with internet architectures, firewalls, proxy servers
  • Knowledge of SAML, SSO, Apache, load-balancing, and Anti-Virus
  • Experience in supporting enterprise-critical applications
  • Degree or relevant experience preferred
