Senior Technical Writer (Content Experience)

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to join their Content Experience (CX) team, focusing on creating content for cutting-edge technologies like generative AI and streamlined user experiences. This role combines technical expertise with writing prowess, requiring someone who can craft comprehensive, accurate, and approachable content for various audiences including administrators, end users, and developers.

The position demands 3-5 years of experience in technical documentation, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technologies and translate them into clear, user-friendly content. The role involves working in a collaborative, Agile development environment, partnering with developers, product managers, and UX designers to create various content types including in-app assistance, release notes, help documentation, interactive training, and videos.

Key technical requirements include knowledge of DITA, structured authoring, XML-based tools like Oxygen, and source control software such as Perforce or Git. The ideal candidate should have programming knowledge in HTML and the ability to understand and create code samples in various programming languages. Experience with CRM applications, particularly Salesforce technologies like Apex and Lightning Web Components, is a plus.
