Senior/Lead Quality Engineer - AI Platform

Join the AI Platform Quality Engineering team at Salesforce and become a specialist on their AI Platform! You'll work with the latest technology in the AI space, including generative AI, and collaborate with the team to identify and run quality initiatives supporting massive scale planned for this year. The team is small, friendly, and has been working together for 3+ years.

As a Senior/Lead Quality Engineer for the Salesforce AI platform, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans and quality strategies with an emphasis on automation. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, actively contributing to the quality of new features while ensuring successful execution of regression tests in various environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading analysis of coverage gaps and writing E2E and integration tests
• Developing and maintaining tests involving API, databases, and web UI
• Collaborating with stakeholders from multiple organizations
• Generating reports, presenting, and holding the quality bar for new features & releases
• Working with global teams across time zones

Required skills:

• 4-year technical degree
• 6+ years of QE experience
• 2+ years of experience leading projects and partnering/leading junior team members
• Strong knowledge of Java/Python/Selenium/CD pipeline configurations
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to have skills:

• Understanding of LLM Model hosting with Sagemaker
• Experience with LLM Finetuning and Inferencing
• Testing integrations with Cohere, Anthropic, Dolly, Google, etc.
• Experience with Azure Open AI

The team serves as the Center of Excellence for Quality within the AI Platform teams, driving excellence through automation, tools, and streamlined processes. They build and enhance test frameworks, proactively drive quality through monitoring and reporting, and define and measure quality metrics for ML foundations.
