Description For Software Engineer LMTS

Salesforce is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their Terraform Infrastructure Developer Experience (TIDE) team within the Hyperforce program. This role is crucial in transforming the developer experience by creating cutting-edge tooling and simplifying workflows for cloud infrastructure deployment.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with modern technologies like Golang, Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, and Spinnaker to build production-grade tools that empower developers. As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of creating a unified developer experience across multiple cloud providers, working in a remote-first environment with teams across the US.

The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of DevOps experience and strong technical leadership abilities. You'll lead the design and development of well-architected Terraform tooling, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code practices. Your role will be instrumental in shaping how developers interact with cloud resources across multiple providers.

  • Lead in designing, developing, and maintaining well-architected, production-grade Terraform tooling

Requirements For Software Engineer LMTS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years experience in DevOps or similar role
  • Proficiency in Golang and Terraform
  • Prior technical leadership and mentorship experience
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, or AliCloud)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
