The director will guide software engineers through project planning, execution, and deployments, while providing career progression support. Required Skills/Experience:

• 13+ years of professional experience with 5+ years in people management and leading software engineering teams
• Experience in web application development
• Understanding of technology and architecture in highly scalable and available setups
• Ability to drive quality through automation and technical excellence
• Experience with scrum processes and public-facing product releases
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
• Experience in mentoring, managing engineers, and talent retention

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience with AWS services (AppSync, Lambda, SNS, SQS, etc.)
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS) and web accessibility standards
• Experience with content management and personalization technologies
• Familiarity with Salesforce products and services
