Software Engineering LMTS

Salesforce Inc. is seeking a Software Engineering LMTS in Dallas, TX. This role involves optimizing and designing improvements for cost-optimization, performance, and scalability. The engineer will analyze and fine-tune algorithms and data structures, design multi-tenant architecture, and work with various systems including load balancers, caching, and distributed queues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Optimizing queries on Oracle and similar Relational Databases
• Driving cross-cloud/cross-program/cross-product teams on large complex projects
• Leading production escalations: monitoring, remediation, patch delivery, and root-cause-analysis
• Setting standards and best practices for the team
• Maintaining an understanding of performance engineering concepts and methodologies

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, along with five years of progressively responsible experience. Proficiency in various technologies such as AppDynamics, Apigee, AWS, SaaS, GCP, Apim, Splunk, Redis, Gemfire, and OpenShift is required.
