Software Engineering - SDET - Multiple Levels - Senior/Lead

Salesforce is seeking a Software Engineering - SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) for multiple levels including Senior and Lead positions. As a member of the Salesforce Quality Team, you will use agile methodologies to plan, coordinate, and lead customer engagements that result in automated tests and guidance to product teams. The role requires a critical thinker with natural curiosity to learn customers' businesses, extract user scenarios, and translate findings into automatable test plans.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building a confirmed automation tech foundation
• Designing and delivering automation frameworks
• Mastering the Salesforce development process and codebase
• Participating in Test Design Review Boards
• Building end-to-end, cross cloud-impacting integration automation
• Connecting with customers to understand real-life usage
• Executing testing with sophisticated org setup
• Advocating for customer improvements
• Providing leadership and mentorship to team members

Required skills:

• 5+ years of related experience in quality engineering
• Highly proficient in Java and JavaScript
• Experience with automation (UI and Backend)
• Grasp of Object-Oriented Programming
• Proficiency in writing functional automation (UI/API)
• Experience with agile development methodology
• Familiarity with developer tools like git, Maven, and Eclipse IDE
• Good grasp of relational databases and SQL
