Salesforce's Monitoring Cloud team is seeking talented engineers to join their infrastructure team focused on observability services. The role involves working with telemetry systems that operate at massive scale in the public cloud. As a Software Engineering SMTS, you'll be responsible for architecting and implementing services that handle metrics, logs, traces, and events, providing critical insights for development teams across Salesforce.

Responsibilities For Software Engineering SMTS
- Take ownership of complex problems, independently delivering high-quality features
- Proactively design, develop, and implement critical functionality

- Apply engineering best practices to build scalable, maintainable solutions
- Present team's work to peers, leadership, and broader engineering groups

Requirements For Software Engineering SMTS
- B.S/M.S. in Computer Sciences or equivalent field with 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience building highly scalable, available, and real-time data management services
- Deep understanding and experience building services on the public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc)
- Strong experience developing services/software in a Linux/UNIX environment using Java
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering production code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in building and managing services using IaaS constructs while ensuring 99.99% reliability in production
