Description For Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales) - Commercial & Enterprise

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Engineer to join their Sales Organization, working across multiple business segments and verticals including Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and more. This role combines technical expertise with business consulting to drive innovative solutions for customers. As a Solution Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing thoughtful solutions that help customers connect with their customers in new ways, working in a fast-paced environment full of exciting challenges. The position involves close collaboration with customers, the Products team, and Professional Services to develop and demonstrate solutions that address business requirements and provide value. You'll be part of a dynamic environment where you'll use your expertise in design, business consulting, and technology daily. The role requires strong technical and sales skills, including the ability to conduct executive-level demonstrations, develop strategic solutions, and drive consensus among stakeholders. You'll work within specialized teams based on products or industries, with opportunities to work with various Salesforce platforms including Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and others. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with business acumen to serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers transform their businesses through Salesforce solutions.

  • Partner with clients and collaborate with internal team members and C-level contacts
  • Drive consensus on multi-product technology solutions
  • Work on business development, operations and IT strategies

Requirements For Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales) - Commercial & Enterprise

  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent relevant experience
  • Knowledge of relational database and web technology
  • Solid oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience
