Salesforce is seeking a Solution Engineer to join their Sales Organization, specifically focusing on the Small, Medium & Growth Business segment. This role represents a unique opportunity to work with one of the world's leading CRM platforms, where you'll be instrumental in helping customers leverage Salesforce technologies to transform their businesses.

The position spans multiple business segments, from Small Business (1-45 employees) to General Commercial (1001-4500 employees). As a Solution Engineer, you'll be at the intersection of technology and business, working with various Salesforce products and verticals including Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Retail & Consumer Goods, and more.

Your role will be pivotal in developing thoughtful solutions that help customers connect with their clients in innovative ways. You'll collaborate with customers, the Products team, and Professional Services to create comprehensive solutions. The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills as you'll be responsible for demonstrating products, developing technical sales strategies, and configuring solutions that address specific business requirements.

  • Partner with clients and collaborate with internal team members to drive consensus on multi-product technology solutions
  • Work on business development, operations and IT strategies, and product demonstrations
  • Solve ambiguous and sophisticated business problems through research and business assessment
  • Build and present customized solutions and demonstrations of Salesforce products
  • Discover customer's business needs and position best Salesforce solutions

  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent relevant experience
  • Knowledge of relational database and web technology
  • Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
  • Basic programming experience in HTML and web based technologies
