Summer 2025 Intern - DevOps Engineer

The GovCloud Service engineering team at Salesforce is seeking a Summer 2025 Intern for the DevOps Engineer role. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on large-scale production infrastructure within 3rd party cloud service providers, focusing on continuous delivery of services in the GovCloud Production Engineering environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Solving infrastructure-related problems with code, focusing on reusability
• Collaborating on automated CI/CD pipelines
• Transforming manual processes into automated governance solutions
• Creating and maintaining detailed documentation
• Interacting with innovative developers, open-source committers, and architects

The intern will participate in service deployments, interact with development teams, and work on code projects alongside seasoned developers. This role requires a U.S. citizen with the ability to meet government screening standards, including Criminal Justice Information Services screening.

Required qualifications:

• Pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
• Attending a College or University in North America
• Skills in Python, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Kubernetes

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Terraform, Spinnaker, Jenkins, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
