Data Scientist III

Sam's Club AI Labs is seeking a Data Scientist III to join their centralized Data Science and Machine Learning Tech Group. This role focuses on democratizing AI across all major business functions and disrupting conventional industry practices. The team is building a first-in-class platform covering high-performance computing, ML training services, DevOps, model deployment, and metadata capture. The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge research problems in the Retail space while making direct business impact.

The ideal candidate will work with big data analytics, develop advanced statistical models, and implement machine learning solutions at scale. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive data-derived insights, and translate business needs into practical solutions. The role requires expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, and various machine learning techniques including deep learning and GenAI.
