Description For Full-Stack Software Engineer

Santé is building a modern POS system for liquor stores. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll be joining a small, dynamic team working on cutting-edge technology in the retail space.

We're looking for someone who can contribute across our entire stack, from frontend to backend development. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with the founders and make a significant impact on our product and company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our full-stack web application
  • Implement new features and improve existing ones
  • Collaborate with the team to design and architect scalable solutions
  • Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in full-stack web development
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)
  • Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, or Ruby)
  • Knowledge of database systems and API design
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems or retail technology
  • Interest in or experience with fintech applications
