Working Student - Cloud-Native Backend Developer (f/d/m)

As a working student, you'll be tackling real tasks and contributing to impactful projects from day one. The position focuses on supporting the development of the Fioneer Credit Workplace, a new product for mapping the entire life cycle of commercial real estate loans.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accompanying the entire development process, from requirements definition to implementation and deployment
• Designing and developing modern applications in collaboration with experienced team members
• Implementing microservices with Spring Boot (Java/Kotlin), Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ
• Collaborating on containerization and orchestration of applications with Docker and Kubernetes in the Azure Cloud
• Participating in the implementation of CI/CD Pipelines using GitHub

The ideal candidate should be a student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a comparable STEM degree program with above-average performance. They should have advanced knowledge of German and English, solid knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, and experience with databases, Hibernate, and message brokers. Interest in cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure, and experience with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
