Responsibilities For Marine Electrical Engineer

  • Partner with core electrical design engineering and manufacturing teams through product development
  • Support new product development by prototyping early development hardware
  • Execute design for manufacturability changes to enhance production efficiency
  • Resolve and analyze manufacturing discrepancies
  • Participate in design reviews internally and with suppliers and customers
  • Partner with engineering & production teams for current and next-generation vessels
  • Source, retain, and advise new and experienced vendors
  • Identify and solve difficult technical problems using system-level approach
  • Improve manufacturability and address non-conformances
  • Challenge requirements to determine value addition

Requirements For Marine Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Proven understanding of electrical engineering principles
  • Experience in wire harnessing, radios, transmissions, and integrating systems
  • Experience in designing electrical systems for complex projects
  • Knowledge of industry standards (IEEE, IEC, and ABS)
  • Familiarity with programming languages and software development practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability to work in fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to travel as needed
