Responsibilities For Power BI Developer
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Translate business requirements into scalable data models and meaningful insights
- Connect to various data sources, transform raw data, and prepare it for reporting
- Optimize data flows and processes for performance and scalability
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Provide recommendations to improve data visualizations and reporting processes
- Stay updated with Power BI enhancements and implement best practices
- Document dashboards, models, and workflows for transparency and future use
- Support end-users with training on Power BI reports and tools
Requirements For Power BI Developer
- 3+ years of experience in developing reports and dashboards with Power BI
- Strong expertise in DAX and Power Query for data modeling and transformation
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation
- Experience working with data warehouses, OLAP cubes, and other analytical tools
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
- Hands-on experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources
- Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL processes
- Knowledge of Azure Data Platform services is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Microsoft Power BI certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus
