As our Electrical Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing perception systems built for action. You'll work on cutting-edge deterrence systems that respond to threats in real-time, preventing crime before it happens. This role combines practical electrical engineering expertise with innovative security technology development.

The ideal candidate will bring 3-7 years of electrical engineering experience, with strong capabilities in motor controls, PLC programming, and safety analysis. You'll be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems comply with relevant codes while pushing the boundaries of what's possible in residential security technology.

Responsibilities For Electrical Engineer

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems and components
  • Ensuring electrical work complies with relevant codes and standards
  • Running conduit and installing prototype mounting hardware as per electrical codes
  • Programming PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for various applications
  • Conducting hazard analysis and safety assessments for electrical installations
  • Laying out electrical requirements for new projects and existing systems
  • Performing DFMEA to identify potential failure modes and mitigate risks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Providing technical support and guidance to other team members
  • Coordinate with contractors and external vendors for electrical installations

Requirements For Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3-7 years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Proficiency in running conduit and mounting hardware in compliance with electrical codes
  • Strong knowledge of hazard analysis and safety analysis for electrical systems
  • Experience in laying out electrical requirements for complex projects
  • Conducting DFMEA for electrical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
