The Associate Testing Engineer role at Saviynt involves ensuring the quality of their highly-scalable and extensible Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing detailed functional test plans, test cases, and suites
- Performing regression testing for the PAM software
- Validating user interface, workflows, end-to-end flows, and business logic
- Conducting exploratory testing to identify potential issues
- Identifying, debugging, analyzing, and tracking defects
- Collaborating with development and product teams in requirement analysis and design reviews
- Championing the incorporation of automation in testing processes
- Developing, maintaining, and running automated test scripts
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in manual and automated testing of SaaS applications with microservices architecture OR a Master's degree in Computer Science
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile-Scrum methodologies, and QA best practices
- Understanding of various software testing types
- Ability to analyze business requirements and identify test scenarios
- Experience with database design and SQL queries
- Familiarity with RESTful API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
- Exposure to functional test automation frameworks (Selenium, Rest-assured, JUnit, TestNG)
- Programming experience with Java for test automation
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git or GitLab
- Experience with Agile and test management tools (JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, Bugzilla)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
